Populating Mars is silly. And NASA knows it.

Really. NASA knows it. If you listen to what they say publicly you “know” their every effort points to a Mars colony as the populated answer to humanity’s space future.

Hearth, the first human colony in space, looks like a massive white-gold wedding band gleaming in the dark. Because of Hearth’s structure and the external layer of hybrid hyper-ices, it has become humanity’s most audacious engineering achievement.

The final cover will convey both the structure and the idea that the colony, like the ideas it represents, is a work in progress.
